Great Great game and I am totally hooked

When I first bought it, it crashed a few times but it has settled down now and I love it cannot get enough of it. The 50 over game is great when you import the facebook friends, which makes you look at your friends in a different light.

Hope you are working on some new additions,( I see that `Apple are holding you back) such as keeping a record of games played, winning margins, highest scores in the game(s) etc, league table/ divisions, test match, the game is so extendable with so many options , which would make a even better than it already.

I would like to be able to run short runs, instead of just trying to hit fours and sixes. `the challengers can run ones and two threes and even fours, so why can't the champions do it, also.? That's unfair and can make a difference between winning and losing a game.

I have to get as many games in as possible when the wife is at work as she hates the applause.. I love it, can paly all day and not get bored.

You CAN run, you swipe your

You CAN run, you swipe your finger up the screen when you've played a shot.

If you play a delicate shot, and it's not reaching the boundary, then you can just run a single, two or three (or five, if you time it right :)

re:Great Great game

Thanks for stopping by :) Jez was right about the running - just drag your finger up the screen when you are in the field view and you will run.

As you have noted I am still waiting on approval from Apple - I am not sure what the hold up is. I won't start an Apple rant yet though, as they have been courteous and helpful with every interaction I've had with them - even rushing through an emergency release in 48hrs for me which was awesome.

As far as new features, I will be putting a new poll up once I have finished the next release so you can all vote on what you want next.

Apologise to your wife for me. If it is any consolation, mine hardly sees me during the day due to Flick Cricket, and when I do emerge from the shed to go to bed, I have an iPod with me for play testing :) To make it worse, she now has to test multiplayer with me!

thats the way to do it

Get her involved, and then she won't feel left out, tell her its all going into her spending money.

Thanks for your reply Glen, I see fro the others , that you have all the suggestions in hand, and I totally concur with them, especially the league games, and the Stats from previous games, comparative stats, and they are all there, so you know you have a massive team of supporters out there, and we are all behind you, and will keep suggestions til the cows come home.

I have the honor of knowing, and been a close friend of the great Sir Viv as I am one of his country men, went to school with him and have close family ties with him, so Cricket is in my blood. I have to say your game is ten time better than all the other cricket games out there, it's simple and just gets on with the game, so keep up the good work, mate.

re:spending money

Thanks for the great comments mate. Truth be told my wife has been great with this. I have a day job, so work on this is basically an after hours thing - so it does mean a little less time with her and my daughter. We aren't complaining though - it has been (and continues to be) and absolute blast for me and my family to see and enjoy the great reaction so far!

re Sir Viv - I'm mid 30's now, so as a Cricket mad kid in the '80s Sir Viv and the entire WI team were awe inspiring...an incredible team. I can only imagine what it would be like to still be a part of what was for me (and I'm sure many others) a magical time in cricket.

I used to deliver David Boon's newspaper as a kid in the late '80s, but that doesn't really match your story :)

I remember reading in Ian

I remember reading in Ian Botham's autobiography about Sir Viv's 189 not out against England at Old Trafford in '84.

A game I'd watched on TV as a kid.

He said no matter what he tried, he just knew he'd never get him out, "it was like bowling at God".

Still gives me a tingle thinking about it now.

sadly im not old enough to

sadly im not old enough to remember or watch Sir Viv, im mid 20s, though ive seen videos of him and he was a truly gifted player and must have been a joy to watch.
From his stats and what ive seen and heard he would make it into my all star team. (he did when i renamed the opposition on flickcricket)

Only cricket claim to fame ive had is being taught to bowl by the guy who taught shane warne to bowl who was going around a few schools coaching for a while.
