My list
- When you play a different game mode (i.e bat to target), and you then want to play another game afterwards, it shows that that game mode is still selected, but if you go into the menu it has actually gone back to "Bat first, then bowl"
- When you get to a milestone it says "XXXX has score 50 runs", not "scored"
- It would be good to be able to see both teams' scorecards at all times, including after the game has finished
- When an over is finished, the next bowler window comes up instantly when the ball is out of play, so you cant tell if you hit a 4 or a 6 for instance. Perhaps instead after the last ball, the "Next ball" button could be "Next over". Or just have a second or twos delay instead of it being instant.
- A game difficulty setting would be very good too
- In the bowling window could you have two slider stats like when you are batting. Perhaps one could be for the length of the ball, and the other for pace. I was thinking that perhaps the pace could be like the stroke length in batting. If you go too fast (into the red) the the accuracy drops off, and maybe you could have chance of a no ball, leading to a free hit?
- The fielders are pretty stupid. for example if they are sitting on the boundary and you hit a ball very close to them, instead of running sideways to where the ball will be, they run forwards towards it, and it shoots just past them and out for a 4. I have no idea about programming AI so I don't know if that's easy to do or not.
- Maybe it would be good when you are batting to have an indicator of where your stroke was, like when the computer bats.
- If you have just taken a wicket you can't really adjust your field, as all the fielders are huddled in to the wicket. I think when you press the "Adjust field" button they should all go back to their default places.
- A stats page is essential (you know what cricket people are like!) so that you can see your highest scores. I would like to see highest teams scores, highest individual total, highest individual cumulative, and highest individual run rate.
- Maybe make the bowlers worse as you go down the order, or at least make the bowlers worse than the batsmen?
- Wicketkeeping; sometimes the wicket keeper will join 4 other fielders to chase a ball to the boundary! If they then throw the ball back to the stumps when your player is safe, there is sometimes enough time to take a run again. But you will then be run out, when the ball is just sitting on the ground with no one to stump you!
- In the 5 over run chase it gives you some stupid targets - I think the highest I've had was 125! I once got 118, but that's about 1 in 1000 times. Perhaps this could be related to the difficulty setting?
- Finally, is there meant to be sound? Twice when I've been playing and the phone rang just as I was bowled out (the first time) and I think, scored a 4 the second, there was a cheering sound. But at no other point have I heard that (and I have played a lot!). Am I going mad?
I think that's it for now. Please don't think that I don't like the game, I do very much. I have the pro version, and last night got my best innings of 730, with one payer getting 362. (sorry for the boasting). I'm looking forward to multiplayer, that sounds like fun.
Cheers

re: My List
All criticism and comments are welcome mate - don't worry about that.
I can only post a short response ATM, unfortunately my non-Flick Cricket work has caught up with me so I'll respond in greater detail tomorrow night.
On the sound, yes there is sound - however one of my great mates swears he never heard it until the other day, and only after he noticed someone else had sound. I'll look into this...
AI Targets are set to your skill - the better you are the higher the target +/- 10%. I'll look at leveling that out a bit.
I can't sign off without giving recognition to the score - 730! The best I've heard of by a long way!

i agree with many of davew666
i agree with many of davew666 s recommendations such as the scorecard one, difficulty one this can be seen in my thread but he also makes other good points such as adjusting the field after a wicket and sometimes stupid fielders and cannot wait to read your reply

Some great ideas, and stuff
Some great ideas, and stuff that I've missed. I'll get to work on the bugs, and pick a few new features to put on the poll
Sound - and other features
I get sound, but only if the iPhone's ringer switch is in the On position. I don't think the iPod Touch has one of those, so I'm not sure how you control it.
A couple more ideas for possible improvements.
* Run outs: if you're run out going for a second run, you don't get credit for the first, completed one.
* Also, run-outs occasionally seem to apply to the wrong batsman - usually the striker when the graphics appear to show the non-striker being run out.
* Fielding positions: if you play a lot of shots behind square on the leg side, as I do, the AI responds by putting half the fielding team there, which would be illegal in a real game. Given that the AI already works in quarters of the field, how easy would it be to limit that quarter to 2 fielders?
Hope this doesn't sound like carping - I've had a lot of fun for my 59p so far!
I didn't actually realise
I didn't actually realise that you got credit for the runs before you get run out if you go for 2 or more. I thought no runs counted but I looked it up and I was wrong.
I'm pretty sure Glenn said that he is working on Fielding positions, he will clarify. It is in the poll so you can vote for it.
