Back from the Dead!!!!

Hi Everyone!

My mate Antigua Joe gave me a bump on Facebook, as I had disappeared - thanks Joe!

I hope everyone had a great break over the holidays. Unfortunately I have been buried with work from my day job, and poor Flick Cricket was sidelined. On top of that with a new baby on the way we needed to turn the room I usually code in into a Nursery!

However daylight is coming for me - I have a very busy couple of weeks, then I will be dusting the code off, firing up the trusty Mac Mini again, and spending a few weekends on updates before our baby number 2 arrives at the end of March.

My Wife and Father (with the help from many other friends and family) used the money we've made from ads and sales, to build a great little air-conditioned (yes!) office in our garden so I have somewhere permanent and comfortable to work on new versions.

Multiplayer code was, quite frankly, giving me the shits, so I will focus on getting the game to start up a lot faster, stats/scoreboard, and the bugs mentioned in the forums first - then I'll focus on the other stuff.....deal??? great!

Over Christmas we passed the 300,000 mark for downloads of the free version...I said to my wife after the first couple of days it was out it would be cool to have a party at our house for everyone who downloaded the game. I think we may be stretching our relationship with the neighbours if we proceed...

Cheers,

Glenn

Congrats on baby number 2

Congrats on baby number 2 when it arrives at the end of March.
Also Congrats on 300,000 mark for free version downloads.

You should at least have one party to celebrate its success, rather than 300,000 or 0.
I think everyone will accept your deal.

Thanks for the update and good luck with everything,

ff

Poll
Can you find it in your heart to forgive Glenn for version 1.03?
Absolutely not - he needs to get his sh*t together!
36%
Maybe - as long as he gets rid of the damn red arrow (iOS 4 in-joke there)
27%
I guess - He's an OK guy, already punished by Australia's poor form against England and Pakistan
