I must admit I normally play with the sound off, mostly due to the fact that I'm plaing somewhere that I shouldn't be. ;)

But the background noise has never annoyed me. What are the reasons for removing it?

I think the main complaint for me would be the very occassional lag. When your batsman is on 299 and the ball stops briefly on its way down the pitch causing you to play the shot too early and get bowled, it can be more than frustrating.

It doesn't happen often but would definitely occur more than once a game. I just have to be lucky to survive it when it does.

Yeh, i don't usually play with the sound on, though i don't think it should be removed entirely but have settings so you can lower it and turn it off so you can listen to your own music if you want, if you can do that.

Yeah that's a good point. If I'm listening to music and then start the cricket application my music stops.

It would be great to have the option for that not to happen.

Please introduce the option to turn off the noise. Sometimes I am playing music and want to play a quick game, and the crowd noise goes over the music.
