I've just updated to 1.04, and some bugs are still there - the facing batsman doesn't change between overs and when batting the bowlers still bowl more than one over in a row. Both of these problems started in the last version

My fault entirely - I made a last minute change to the Blitz code before I submitted, which has affected every other mode!

Firstly, thanks for all your patience - version 1.03 for Free and Pro have been submitted to Apple for approval.

It incorporates a few fixes, a brand new mode, and the start of layout changes to allow for some more 'social media' type function coming soon.

Not everything made it in to this release - I figured I needed to get something out for you all as it had been so long!

I'll be focussing on the save system, menus, and sound in the next release.

So today I update my iPhone to the new 4.0 OS. Almost the first thing I noticed that was different was in FlickCricket. The ball has a little red cursor above it and the cursor tracks the ball around the field. I've never seen this before in my endless hours of playing the game, and I'm wondering if it was originally designed that way but the older OS somehow didn't render it. By the way, I'm not sure I care for it either.

Quick update. New baby has arrived! Mum and baby are great. Two kids under two is a crazy experience!

You will be getting two new major features in the next couple of months. The first is a new play mode that I hope you love as much as I do....it has been put together for those who want a quick, intense hit of Flick Cricket! It is in this next release with a host of bug fixes (inc Facebook posting).

The website will be changing to accommodate the next feature over the next 8 weeks. There will be some disruption, but nothing too major.

I will tweet dev updates (@flickcricket) as they happen starting this weekend. I rarely get to the forums, so this will be the place if you are interested in what is happening, or if you want to ask a quick Q or suggest something.

Just tried Flick Cricket on the iPad - not bad at all at 2x. Obviously there is some jaggies on the fonts etc, but still the overall feel is the same.

I really hope this App is expanded to become native on the iPad, along with adding some of the other feature requests.

I do have the T20 Cricket Fever (+IPL) Apps. They are much more realistic, but it's the simulation and playability that Flick Cricket has that makes me reach for it first. You certainly can't have a "quick" game with T20 like you can with Flick Cricket.

Found a bug on this game.

With this bug it is easy to bowl out the competition with just 10 balls.

Here's the bug:

You are bowling.

for starters, select a pace bowler.
choose delivery - select straight (middle)
flick to bowl (here's the bug) - slide your finder on the top screen, below and just left off the upper stumps.

The batter will not hit the ball and it goes straight to the wicket. If it doesn't, keep trying, you will eventually find it. and when you do, you can bowl them out for 0/10.

finding the sweet spot for pace bowler is easiest.

Hope you fix it soon.
